$200,000 for Organizations Supporting Military Families

Every day, service members, veterans, and their families rise to the challenge of maintaining a healthy lifestyle while facing the unique trials that come with having dedicated their lives in service to our nation. These families often face long deployments and separation, and many must cope with the long-term effects associated with service.

Newman's Own, Fisher House Foundation, and Military Times join together in presenting $200,000 in grants to the most creative military quality of life improvement plans. Complete the online application and tell us about your innovative idea to improve the quality of life for military families, and your organization could be awarded up to $50,000 in funding.

 Camp Sunshine – Military Family Sponsorship Program

Camp Sunshine at Sebago Lake, Casco, ME

 Camp Sunshine provides retreats combining respite, recreation and support, while enabling hope and promoting joy for children with life-threatening illnesses and their immediate families, through various stages of a child’s illness. The retreats are disease specific and are offered year-round, enabling them to serve families when they need support the most.

Dog Tag Bakery, Inc., Washington, DC

Dog Tag Inc. empowers transitioning service-disabled veterans, military spouses, and caregivers to discover personal and professional fulfillment in the civilian world through an innovative five-month business and entrepreneurship-focused fellowship program. Fellows explore a variety of career paths, learn how to utilize available resources and establish vast networks as they develop strategic roadmaps for achieving personal and professional fulfillment post-service. 


Foundation for Women Warriors Childcare Assistance

Foundation for Women Warriors, Los Angeles, CA

 Foundation for Women Warriors Childcare Assistance program provides childcare scholarships and stipends which enable veteran moms to maintain employment or persist towards their degree.

 The Armed Services Arts Partnership (ASAP) helps reintegrate veterans and military families into their communities through the arts.  ASAP's focus on consistent programs and partnerships ensure that members of is community have continuous opportunities for artistic and personal growth.


Boot Campaign’s ReBOOT

Boot Campaign, Tyler, TX

 Through its revolutionary ReBOOT program, Boot Campaign is providing funding to world-class physical and mental wellness programs for Traumatic Brain Injury (TBI), Post Traumatic Stress Disorder (PTSD), chronic pain, addiction, and insomnia. By removing financial barriers, our service men and women can receive the treatment that they deserve and have earned.
