More than $11 million dollars has been awarded in thirteen years
Commissaries are an integral part of the quality of life offered to service members and their families. The Scholarships for Military Children Program was created in recognition of the contributions of military families to the readiness of the fighting force and to celebrate the role of the commissary in the military family community. It is the intent of the program that a scholarship funded through contributions be awarded annually for each commissary operated by the Defense Commissary Agency worldwide. Learn More

Assisting children of fallen and severely disabled service members
In 2010, President Obama donated the proceeds from his children's book "Of Thee I Sing: A Letter to My Daughters" to Fisher House Foundation to help establish a scholarship for the children of fallen and disabled service members. Learn More
Fisher House Foundation sponsors a scholarship program for military spouses. The program is administered by the National Military Family Association.
