If then-president George W. Bush signs your tractor, does that make it worthy of being auctioned off at Barrett-Jackson?
Apparently so. It doesn't hurt matters that the tractor is owned by Jay Leno, who uses it to push around cars in his spacious classic-car garages near Burbank, Calif.
Leno is parting with the tractor -- with all proceeds going to go benefit a charity called the Fisher House Foundation -- for practical reasons. He has a new tractor, which we don't think was signed by anyone -- yet.
The tractor being auctioned off is named the "Lil Tug" and it was also signed by Leno. It goes on the auction block Jan. 21. It is being done in conjunction with a promotion by New Holland, which is offering a $300 discount on compact tractors to veterans.
