NIKKI SIXX VISITS WOUDNED WARRIORS AT FISHER HOUSE AND CENTER FOR THE INTREPID IN SAN ANTONIO, TX
San Antonio, TX (November 17, 2011) – Nikki Sixx, bass player for legendary heavy metal band Motley Crue and founder of Sixx A.M., visited with wounded warriors during a trip to the Fisher Houses and Center for the Intrepid here today, during a visit to the campus of Brooke Army Medical Center.
The integrated complex at Brooke Army Medical Center consists of the Center for the Intrepid, a $60 million physical rehabilitation facility funded and built by the Intrepid Fallen Heroes Fund, and four Fisher Houses, built by the Fisher House Foundation. The entire complex was opened in 2007.
