Today on The Brian Sussman Morning Show, the Fisher House Foundation presented KSFO 560 AM a plaque for the $135,000+ in donations raised by KSFO listeners during a LIVE broadcast from the Palo Alto Fisher House on May 27, 2011.

Fisher House Representatives Cindy Campbell and Randall Bloomquist presented the plaque to Morning Show host, Brian Sussman and Vice President of Sales for Cumulus Media San Francisco, Deidra Lieberman, along with announcing these monies would be the beginning of the financing towards building a second Fisher House in Palo Alto!

“Fisher House is grateful for the support of KSFO and its listeners. This was an amazing demonstration of support for troops and their families.  KSFO is helping to build a lasting legacy in the form of another Fisher House that will serve our military and veterans for decades to come”, said Dave Coker, President of The Fisher House Foundation.

Fisher House provides no-cost housing and the comforts of home for military family members while their loved ones rehab and recover from various injuries and ailments suffered in the line of duty.  There are fifty-two Fisher Houses in the U.S. and two in Germany. Twelve more houses are currently under construction or in design.
