FISHER HOUSE FOUNDATION is offering News/Talk stations a three-hour, spoken word program, "A Grateful Nation," which honors those who have fought and died to defend AMERICA, and the loved ones who share the burden. The radio special debuted in 2012 as a one-hour program, but was expanded to a three-hour format in its second year due to popular demand.

Distributed by PREMIERE NETWORKS, "A Grateful Nation" profiles several wounded warriors who have overcome serious injuries to build full and happy lives.  The program also looks at how today’s AMERICA remembers its fallen heroes and cares for the loved ones left behind.

WSB-A/F/ATLANTA morning host SCOTT SLADE will host the program. "It’s so important that we continue to remember and support our volunteer military and their families," SLADE said.  "These folks make incredible sacrifices to protect our freedom and keep us safe.  I’m honored to tell their stories."

The show features three modular hours and will be fed with a no-obligation; MEMORIAL DAY-specific FISHER HOUSE PSA that stations may run at their discretion. Produced by BLOOMQUIST MEDIA, "A Grateful Nation" is a barter program with affiliates required to air just five in-show network minutes per hour, most of which will promote FISHER HOUSE.
