Family focused, lifestyle and advice website OurFamilyFunNight.com recently reported on the successful 10th Annual Bull Run Golf Tourney held in Haymarket, Virginia. The yearly event is organized by the Divot Charities to help support various underfunded nonprofit groups around the nation.

Originally posted on the Falls Church News-Press website on May 22nd, this year’s beneficiary is the Fisher House program which helps to support military families. The program uses funds to build special homes located on the grounds of major VA campuses around the nation. Families can live in these homes free of charge while their loved ones are treated for major illness, disease and injury.

A large success, this year’s tourney drew in support from various prominent community members including Scott Tucker and Washington Redskins player Nick Sundburg. Sundburg also provided donated two team autographed footballs to support the mission. The total amount donated from the tourney was in excess of $38,000 dollars.
