True to his word, KTRH's Michael Berry and his crew will be needing a lot less shampoo after raising money for a good cause.
After a matching donation, over $100,000 has been raised for Fisher House. Last week, Michael Berry began raising money for the group that builds living accomodations for family of wounded veterans being treated at VA hospitals.
Originally Berry claimed that he would shave his precious beard if they raised $5,000, but within a day over $40,000 were raised. That prompted Berry and his entire staff to promise to shave their heads when they delivered the money to Fisher House.
In another stunning turn Russell Ybarra who owns both Gringos Tex-Mex and Jimmy Changas donated another $50,000 bringing the total amount raised to over $100,000.
