Operation Fisher House

WMAL's Operation Fisher House ran from Friday, November 30 through Saturday, December 1 in Washington, DC. This is the ninth year WMAL has run a radiothon to support Fisher House Foundation. Their goal for the weekend is to raise another $250,000 and they beat that, raising over $280,000 bringing their 9 year total to over $4 million!

Throughout the day weekend,  hosts discussed the mission of Fisher House and even interviewed  several family members helped by the Fisher House program. From wounded warriors to parents to spouses, each of these has a unique story about what brought them to Fisher House.
