The House of Harley-Davidson says it's finished a six-week promotion called “The bike that social media built" and will display the bike Saturday at the Milwaukee Auto Show.

The Harley dealership relied on fans and followers to vote on the customization of a brand new Iron 883. Now that it's complete, The House of Harley will donate the 883 to Fisher House Wisconsin.

After Saturday's unveiling, raffle tickets will be sold to win the custom Harley until the official drawing on November 10.

Each week, The House of Harley gave fans new options for the bike, and followers were able to track the progress of the customization via Facebook, Twitter, and the House’s blog.

Nearly 3,500 fans, followers, and subscribers voted on the details of this bike that was customized for overall style, paint, seat design, and various parts and accessories options.

The Fisher House Wisconsin’s mission is to provide a “home away from home” for military and veterans’ families so that they may be close to a loved one during hospitalization for an illness, disease, or injury at the Clement J. Zablocki VA Medical Center in Milwaukee. The capital campaign is currently underway with a groundbreaking planned for 2013.
