The Denver Fisher House is throwing a birthday party in honor of Zachary Fisher, the patron of the Fisher House Foundation and founder of the Fisher Houses, and you're invited! We will be welcoming special guests and the public to an open house event on Sunday the 26th of September, from 1:00 to 5:00 P.M. You can meet politicians, Friends of the Fisher House, and distinguished service members and help celebrate Mr.

Fisher's service to our nation's military and our country. Please bring your friends and join us for cake and punch this Sunday at the Denver Fisher House! Fisher Houses, located near VA medical facilities and military medical centers around the world, provide temporary lodging for active duty armed service personnel and veterans undergoing medical treatment at a local medical facility, and their families. The existing Denver Fisher House (located at the former Fitzsimons Army Medical Center in Aurora, Colorado) offers accommodations for nine families.

The Denver Fisher House has helped over 6,800 military families. With an average occupancy rate exceeding 98%, the current Fisher House frequently maintains a waiting list for guests. The Friends of the Fisher House are poised to launch a capital campaign to raise $3M and are actively seeking funds from the community and to build a larger 20-room Fisher House in Denver.

With the help of donations from the community and organizations such as The Denver Outlaws and The Wildwood Casino, the Fisher House Foundation will build a new replacement facility to better support our nation's servicemen and servicewomen.
