Thanks to a new partnership with the Fisher House Foundation and Health Net Federal Services, NMFA has expanded the program to provide scholarships to a larger number of deserving military spouses.
Applications will only be accepted online at www.nmfa.org/scholarship and must be submitted by midnight March 15. Spouses of uniformed service members - active duty, National Guard and Reserve, retirees, and survivors - of any branch or rank are eligible to apply. The scholarship funds may be used to assist with tuition, fees, and school room and board.
NMFA recognizes unique challenges like frequent moves and deployments can interfere with military spouses' ability to complete their education. Because of this, the association has created a web portal stocked with military spouse education resources and information to assist spouses with their education journey. Visit www.nmfa.org/SpouseEd to access the information.
The National Military Family Association is the only national organization whose sole focus is the military family and whose goal is to influence the development and implementation of policies that will improve the lives of the families of the Army, Navy, Air Force, Marine Corps, Coast Guard and the Commissioned Corps of the Public Health Service and the National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration. For nearly 40 years, its staff and volunteers, comprised mostly of military family members, have built a reputation for being the leading experts on military family issues.
