Burning River to present Fisher House Charity Lacrosse Showcase

FAIRVIEW PARK, OH - Burning River Lacrosse presents the Fisher House Charity Lacrosse Showcase. The Showcase' is an all day series of High School and Middle School lacrosse games held to raise money and awareness for the Fisher House Foundation.
The Fisher House Foundation provides a "home-away-from-home" for America's military families so that they can be with their severely wounded and/or ill family member(s) during those service members' medical treatment and/or lengthy physical and/or occupational therapy treatments. Annually, the Fisher Houses serve more than 10,000 families at a cost savings of more than $10 million (lodging costs, plus food and transportation). The, event, which takes place on April 26th at Fairview Park High School (4507 W. 213th, Fairview Park, OH), features five games alternating between the middle and high school levels. At 11 a.m., Jackson High School faces Minisink Valley high School, followed by a 1:30 p.m. game between the Solon Attack and Rocky River Lacrosse Club. At 3:00 p.m., North Canton Hoover H.S. faces University School, followed by a 5:30 game between the Medina and Westside Lacrosse Clubs. Wrapping up the day's events is a 7:00 p.m. game between Sylvania Lacrosse Club and St. Ignatius High School.
The combined goal of the schools is to sell 3,000 tickets and raise $50,000. Presale tickets are available direct at www.fisherhouse.org/BRLAX or by contacting Burning River Lacrosse at (216) 373-5684 and cost $6 for adults and $3 for students/youth, with Military ID Card holders and children under two given free admission. Tickets are available on the day of the game as well ($10 for adults, $5 for students/youth).
