Run for Chance | The Chance Phelps Foundation

Team Fisher House at the 2009 Marine Corps Marathon has designated a particular project for this year's race: the construction of the VA Medical Center Fisher House in Salt Lake City, in honor of LCpl Chance Phelps.

Chance is memorialized in a new HBO movie, Taking Chance, that premiers on 21 February. It is the story of LtCol Mike Strobl (played by Kevin Bacon) escorting the body of LCpl Chance Phelps from Dover AFB, DE to his home in Dubois, WY.

Team Fisher House is making the 2009 Marine Corps Marathon a "Run4Chance."
