Fisher House™ Legacy Award
In 1999, following the passing of Fisher House™ Foundation founder Zachary Fisher, the Fisher House™ Foundation Board of Trustees approved a resolution to pay tribute to its founder on his birth date, September 26th, each year with appropriate ceremonies at each Fisher House™ location, designating the day "Fisher House™ Founder's Day." The Board of Trustees also approved the establishment of the Fisher House™ Legacy Award to recognize those individuals or organizations that have made a lasting impact on improving the quality of life for members of the Armed Forces or veterans and their families.

Fisher House™ Patriot Award
The Fisher House™ Patriot Award was established in 2002 as a means of recognition to individuals and/or organizations which have been exceptionally supportive of the Fisher House™ program.

The Zachary & Elizabeth Fisher Distinguished Civilian Humanitarian Award
In 1996, the Secretaries of the Army, Navy, and the Air Force approved the establishment of the Zachary and Elizabeth Award for Distinguished Civilian Humanitarian Service. The award was named in honor of Zachary and Elizabeth Fisher, both of whom had contributed extensively to the support and welfare of members of the U. S. Armed Forces and their families.
